Actively atWork definition

Actively atWork means the employee is physically andmentally capable of doing each and every function of his/her occupation, on the basis of the minimum number of hours worked per week specified in the Schedule of Benefits. If an employee is not actively at work due to vacation, holidays, a non-scheduled working day, maternity or parental leave, then actively at work means the capability to perform the employee’s normal duties at the employee’s normal placeof employment on the same basis as the employee who is actively at work.

  • Actively at Work and "active work" means actually performing on a Full- time basis each and every duty pertaining to your job in the place where and the manner in which the job is normally performed. This includes approved time off such as vacation, jury duty and funeral leave, but does not include time off as a result of injury or illness.

  • Actively Employed – means the employee has been at work and performing assigned duties for at least 80 percent of the work days over the previous 12 months.
