Examples of Acting Fire Chief in a sentence

  • The employee may meet personally with the Fire Chief, or the Acting Fire Chief, upon request.

  • The Fire Chief, or the Acting Fire Chief, shall investigate the grievance and respond in writing within fifteen (15) calendar days of its receipt.

  • Such verification of injury or illness must be provided to the Fire Chief or Acting Fire Chief as soon as possible.

  • The bargaining unit will consist of all full-time City of Xenia, Ohio, uniformed Fire Division personnel in the rank of Firefighter, Fire Lieutenant and Fire Captain (or other ranks/titles used to designate line supervisors assigned to the operations platoons) and excluding the positions of Fire Chief, Deputy Fire Chief and any individual who is assigned as Acting Fire Chief in the absence of the Fire Chief.

  • It is the sole discretion of the President of the Board of Trustees, the Fire Chief, or the Acting Fire Chief to determine that civil emergency conditions exist, which may include but are not limited to riots, civil disorders, tornado conditions, floods or other similar catastrophes.

  • Acting Fire Chief The Fire Chief or Interim Fire Chief shall have the ability to appoint a qualified UAF Local 1324 Unit Member to the position of Acting Fire Chief while they are unavailable to perform the duties of Fire Chief.

  • If employee is out of town, he/she must notify the Fire Chief or Acting Fire Chief within 24 hours of injury or sickness and notify the Fire Chief or Acting Fire Chief of the injury or sickness and his/her intent to have time converted to sick leave.

  • A UAF Local 1324 Unit Member appointed to Acting Fire Chief shall remain in the bargaining unit and retain his normal duties, schedule, rank, and wages, unless notified of a change in schedule.

  • In the event of the Fire Chief’s extended absence from duty for any reason, the Acting Fire Chief per District policy shall act in the Fire Chief’s place and stead under this step of the grievance procedure.

  • The Deputy Chief may service as Acting Fire Chief in the absence of the Fire Chief.
