Accountable Mail definition

Accountable Mail means mail that provides documented proof that the letter or notice was mailed to the recipient at the recipient’s address and meets COBRA regulation requirements, but does not mean that delivery is tracked.
Accountable Mail means express, certified, registered, and/or insured mail that incorporates a system of receipts to monitor its movement from point- to-point.
