Accident/sickness definition
Accident/sickness means you are absent from work and certified as unfit to work by your doctor (or if less than 7 days you can Self-Certify) due to injury, illness, or disease. Your accident/sickness must have started at a time when you are in work. You must be unfit to do the job that you are/were employed to do. If due to accident/sickness you are no longer employed, you must be unfit to do a job that your education or experience would allow you to. You must be under the continued supervision of, and receiving treatment from, a doctor throughout the period of your claim.
