Access Programming definition

Access Programming means the creation and distribution of video programming and other services and signals where governmental institutions or their designees are the primary users having editorial control over programming and services.
Access Programming will mean programming under the editorial control of Access users. “Access Users” will mean those members of the community who create and/or present programming for playback on the Access Channels.
Access Programming means programs on the public access channels. It must be noncommercial within the standards for underwriting applicable to the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) or the standards necessary to maintain its tax exempt status within the applicable regulations of the Internal Revenue Service and excludes political campaigning.

Examples of Access Programming in a sentence

  • The Licensee and the Issuing Authority shall negotiate in good faith any difficulties that arise regarding cablecasting of PEG Access Programming.

  • The Licensee shall not engage in any program censorship or any other control of the content of the PEG Access Programming on the Cable System, except as otherwise required or permitted by applicable law.

  • The Grantee agrees to provide cable programming services in the following broad categories: Children General Entertainment Family Oriented Ethnic/Minority Sports Weather Educational Arts, Culture and Performing Arts News & Information Pursuant and subject to federal law, all Video Programming decisions, excluding PEG Access Programming, are at the sole discretion of the Grantee.

  • At the Headend or the Hub, said PEG Access Programming shall be retransmitted in the downstream direction on one of the Subscriber Network PEG Access Downstream Channels.

  • The Licensee shall monitor the PEG Access Channels for technical quality and shall ensure that they are maintained at standards commensurate with those which apply to the Cable System’s commercial channels; provided, however, that the Licensee is not responsible for the production quality of PEG Access Programming productions.

  • The Licensee and the Issuing Authority shall discuss in good faith any difficulties that arise regarding cablecasting of PEG Access Programming.

  • At the Headend, said Access Programming shall be retransmitted in the downstream direction on one of the PEG Access Downstream Channels.

  • The Access Corporation shall be responsible for the picture quality of all PEG Access Programming.

  • Any Licensee-owned channel(s) made available by the Licensee and provided for use for the presentation of PEG Access Programming.

  • Unless otherwise agreed to by the Issuing Authority and the Licensee in writing, the Licensee shall provide Framingham PEG Access Programming from its Framingham cable system to Southborough Subscribers in the Service Area.
