Access Programming definition

Access Programming means the creation and distribution of video programming and other services and signals where governmental institutions or their designees are the primary users having editorial control over programming and services.
Access Programming means programs on the public access channels. It must be noncommercial within the standards for underwriting applicable to the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) or the standards necessary to maintain its tax exempt status within the applicable regulations of the Internal Revenue Service and excludes political campaigning.
Access Programming will mean programming under the editorial control of Access users. “Access Users” will mean those members of the community who create and/or present programming for playback on the Access Channels.

Examples of Access Programming in a sentence

  • The PEG Access channels shall, other than provided in Section 6.1(c) below, be used exclusively as and/or for PEG Access channels and PEG Access Programming.

  • The Licensee shall not engage in any program censorship or any other control of the content of the PEG Access Programming on the Cable System, except as otherwise required or permitted by applicable law.

  • Pursuant to 47 U.S.C. 544, Licensee shall maintain the mix, quality and broad categories of Video Programming as set forth in Exhibit 5.2. Pursuant and subject to federal law, all Video Programming decisions, excluding PEG Access Programming, are at the sole discretion of Licensee.

  • Said equipment shall be used for transport of said PEG Access signal(s) to Comcast’s headend facility to enable the Issuing Authority, its designee(s) and/or the Access Provider to cablecast their PEG Access Programming over the Subscriber Network PEG Access Downstream Channels.

  • The Grantee agrees to provide cable programming services in the following broad categories: Children General Entertainment Family Oriented Ethnic/Minority Sports Weather Educational Arts, Culture and Performing Arts News & Information Pursuant and subject to federal law, all Video Programming decisions, excluding PEG Access Programming, are at the sole discretion of the Grantee.

  • The Grantee agrees to provide cable programming services in the following broad categories: ChildrenGeneral EntertainmentFamily OrientedEthnic/MinoritySportsWeatherEducationalArts, Culture and Performing ArtsNews & Information Pursuant and subject to federal law, all Video Programming decisions, excluding PEG Access Programming, are at the sole discretion of the Grantee.

Related to Access Programming

  • Users means your employees, representatives, consultants, contractors or agents who are authorized to use the Subscription Service for your benefit and have unique user identifications and passwords for the Subscription Service.

  • Video programming means programming provided by, or generally considered comparable to programming provided by, a television broadcast station.

  • End User means, in the event that the Services or Deliverables involve the use of any information systems, any and all UNICEF employees, consultants and other personnel and any other external users collaborating with UNICEF, in each case, authorized by UNICEF to access and use the Services and/or Deliverables.
