Academic Teaching definition

Academic Teaching or “Teaching” means use of the Software for instructional purposes ONLY, and NOT for research purposes, at the Institution. Instructional purposes include student instruction, student demonstrations, and student projects, as part of a current course offering at the Institution.

Related to Academic Teaching

  • Academic term means a division of the school year during which a course of studies is offered, and includes a semester, quarter, or single consolidated summer term as defined by the institution.

  • Teaching means, for the purpose of Section 1 of this order, the profession of teaching under a certificate from the Commission for Teacher Preparation and Licensing or teaching in an accredited college or university.

  • Student teaching means a supervised teaching practice occurring near the end of an applicant's approved program.

  • Academic year means the period of twelve months beginning on 1st January, 1st April, 1st July or 1st September according to whether the course in question begins in the winter, the spring, the summer or the autumn respectively but if students are required to begin attending the course during August or September and to continue attending through the autumn, the academic year of the course is to be considered to begin in the autumn rather than the summer;

  • Academic Board means the Academic Board of the University College established under paragraph 13;
