Academic Review definition

Academic Review. Any student who receives an F but still has a grade point average of 1.6 or above will be placed on Academic Review until the next report card is issued. The student must agree to meet regularly with the teacher of the failed subject, and the student must continue to get positive weekly reports from that teacher about his/her attention to homework, help sessions and test/quiz grades. The student must not get two consecutive negative reports. If expectations of the Academic Review process are not met, the student immedi-ately becomes ineligible until the next report card is issued.
