Academic Grades definition

Academic Grades. Students should possess a cumulative 2.0 (“C”) grade point average. Those not meeting these criteria may be allowed to enroll on the recommendation of the Senior Marine Instructor (SMI) and Marine Instructor (M.I.) with the approval of the Principal. Enrollment for students with less than a cumulative (“C”) grade point average will be probationary. Probationary students will be required to demonstrate improvement in their grade point average, to pass all courses required for graduation, and to be actively working to achieve a cumulative 2.0 (‘C”) average in order to be removed from probationary status. Cadets, that receive a “D” or below in a marking period report card will be assigned to the Cadet Tutoring Program.
