Abutters definition

Abutters means any owner of a Lot touching a Lot on which an Eligible Building is located and shall include owners of Lots directly opposite such Lot on any public or private street or way.

Abutters shall describe abutters to the property, including owners of land directly opposite on any public or private street or way, and abutters to the abutters. As currently calculated, this totals 26 parcels. (Refer to Appendix 1.)  “Neighbors” shall refer to all residents and owners of real estate property within 300 feet of the property line of the property, excluding the abutters.

More Definitions of Abutters

Abutters means any person whose property is located in New Hampshire and adjoins or is directly across the street or stream from the land under consideration by the Board. For purposes of receiving testimony only and not for the purpose of notification, the term “Abutter” shall include any person who is able to demonstrate that his/her land will be directly affected by the proposal under consideration. For purposes of receipt of notification by a municipality of the Board’s hearing, in the case of an abutting property being under a condominium or other collective form of ownership, the term abutter means the officers of the collective or association, as defined in RSA 356-B:3.XXIII.

  • Abut or "abutting" means immediately contiguous or physically touching, and, when used with respect to a lot or site, means that the lot or site physically touches upon another lot or site, and shares a property line or boundary line with it;

  • Pavement means any type of improved surface that is within the public right-of-way and that is paved or otherwise constructed with bituminous, concrete, aggregate, or gravel.

  • Perimeter means the fenced or walled area of the institution that restrains the movement of the inmates.
