Absolute Improvement definition

Absolute Improvement is defined as the change in performance from Baseline to follow-up. “Relative Improvement” is defined as Absolute Improvement divided by the Baseline measurement. ‘NCQA’ means National Committee for Quality Assurance.‌‌ ‘HEDIS’ means Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set. Measures: For the demonstration Performance Periods, the following measures will be used:‌ Measure Category Measure Name Measure Specification Organization Method of Data Collection Rate Used in Calculations Population Data Required Equity* Utilization Measure Clinical Quality *See section 16.4.2 for the description of each equity measure.
