Chronic delinquency" shall mean failure by Tenant to pay Basic Rent, or any other payments required to be paid by Tenant under this Lease within three (3) days after written notice thereof for any three (3) occasions (consecutive or non-consecutive) during any twelve (12) month period. In the event of a chronic delinquency, Landlord shall have the right, at Landlord's option, to require that Basic Rent be paid by Tenant quarterly, in advance.
Intoxication means a person with an elevated blood alcohol content of a ratio of alcohol in the blood of such person that is eight-hundredths of one per cent or more of alcohol, by weight or such person has sustained such Injury while under the influence of intoxicating liquor or any drug or both.
Intoxicant means any alcohol beverage, hazardous inhal- ant, controlled substance, controlled substance analog or other drug, or any combination thereof.
Alcohol means the intoxicating agent in beverage alcohol, ethyl alcohol, or other low molecular weight alcohols including methyl and isopropyl alcohol.

Unexcused absence means an absence from school that is not authorized by the local school administrator or local school corporation rule.
Illness means a sickness or a disease or pathological condition leading to the impairment of normal physiological function which manifests itself during the Policy Period and requires medical treatment.
Persistent means three or more defaults. After the State has notified Contractor of its third default, the State may terminate this Contract without providing Contractor with an opportunity to cure, if Contractor defaults for a fourth time. The four defaults are not required to be related to each other in anyway.
Rubbing alcohol means any product containing isopropyl alcohol (also called isopropanol) or denatured ethanol and labeled for topical use, usually to decrease germs in minor cuts and scrapes, to relieve minor muscle aches, as a rubefacient, and for massage.
Insubordination means actual or implied willful refusal to follow written policies, regulations, rules, or procedures established by the public education department (PED), the local school board, or administrative authorities, or the lawful written or oral orders, requests or instructions of administrative authorities.
Alcoholism means a disease, characterized by a dependency
Sickness means an illness or disease diagnosed or treated by a Physician.
Intermittent means care that is to be rendered because of a medically predictable recurring need for skilled home health care. “Skilled home health care” means reasonable and necessary care for the treatment of an illness or injury which requires the skill of a nurse or therapist, based on the complexity of the service and the condition of the patient and which is performed directly by an appropriately licensed professional provider. Home health care requires Preauthorization.
Drugs means (a) substances recognized in the official United
Explosives or munitions emergency means a situation involving the suspected or detected presence of unexploded ordnance (UXO), damaged or deteriorated explosives or munitions, an improvised explosive device (IED), other potentially explosive material or device, or other potentially harmful military chemical munitions or device, that creates an actual or potential imminent threat to human health, including safety, or the environment, including property, as determined by an explosives or munitions emergency response specialist. Such situations may require immediate and expeditious action by an explosives or munitions emergency response specialist to control, mitigate, or eliminate the threat.
Intoxicated person means a person whose mental or physical
Job means a position or job family level in a job family [74:840-1.3].
Serious means violations that either result in one or more neg- ative outcomes and significant actual harm to residents that does not constitute imminent danger, or there is a reasonable predictability of recurring actions, practices, situations, or incidents with potential for causing significant harm to a resident, or both.
Grave means a burial place formed in the ground by excavation and without any internal wall of brickwork or stonework or any other artificial lining.
Addiction means a primary, chronic, neurobiologic disease, with genetic, psychosocial, and environmental factors influencing its development and manifestations. It is characterized by behaviors that include the following: impaired control over drug use, craving, compulsive use, and continued use despite harm. Physical dependence and tolerance are normal physiological consequences of extended opioid therapy for pain and are not the same as addiction.
Alcohol Use Disorder means a disease that is characterized by a pattern of pathological use of alcohol with repeated attempts to control its use, and with negative consequences in at least one of the following areas of life: medical, legal, financial, or psycho-social; or
Critical Illness means an illness, sickness or disease or corrective measure as specified in Section 6 of this policy document.
Catastrophic illness or "Injury" means an illness or injury that is expected to incapacitate the employee for an extended period of time, or that incapacitates a member of the employee's family which incapacity requires the employee to take time off from work for an extended period of time to care for that family member, and taking extended time off work creates a financial hardship for the employee because he or she has exhausted all of his or her sick leave and other paid time off.
Offense means a felony, gross misdemeanor, or crime of moral turpitude.
Abuse or neglect means abuse or neglect as described in Conn. Gen. Stat. § 46b-120, and includes any violation of Conn. Gen. Stat. §§ 53a-70 (sexual assault in the first degree), 53a-70a (aggravated sexual assault in the first degree), 53a-71 (sexual assault in the second degree), 53a-72a (sexual assault in the third degree), 53a-72b (sexual assault in the third degree with a firearm), or 53a-73a (sexual assault in the fourth degree).
Malfeasance means with respect to any Entity or person, any act or omission which constitutes fraud, bad faith, willful misconduct or gross negligence, whether in respect of the Council or otherwise.
