ABSENT DAYS definition

ABSENT DAYS. An absent day means any day that a child is authorized to be in the Vendor’s care but is not in attendance, and child care would have been provided had the child been present. The Department shall issue payments to Child Care Subsidy Program Vendors for authorized enrollment, subject to the attendance threshold established by the Department of Education.
ABSENT DAYS. Our operation is dependent upon your tuition payments; therefore there is no billing adjustment for absences. Each Full Day child receives vacation/sick credit equal to double his/her daily rate (i.e. 2 Day Program = 4 vacation/sick days) and based on enrollment date. Vacation/sick credits do not apply to AM/PM Preschool/Pre-K and School-Age Programs.
ABSENT DAYS. There is no adjustment for absences, such as illness, weather or personal plans. A vacation credit based on the student's weekly schedule is offered September through August and must be requested two (2) weeks in advance by written notice.
