Abeyance definition

Abeyance means the temporary suspension of a Student’s studies, which has been agreed by a CPU.
Abeyance is the period of time the clock is stopped from running on a time frame under this Article.

Examples of Abeyance in a sentence

  • Abeyance agreements entered into pursuant to Appendix C are not subject to this Section.

  • Abeyance agreements, including Last Chance Agreements, shall be two (2) years in duration and shall be signed by a representative of the Employer, the Union, and the Employee.

  • Abeyance agreements, including Last Chance Agreements, shall be three (3) years in duration and shall be signed by a representative of the Employer, the Union, and the Employee.

  • Dual enrollment in EFSC courses may not be considered as an alternative or as an additional placement to the Abeyance Program during the expulsion period.

  • SBBC shall accept referrals from a variety of sources including teachers, guidance counselors, administrators, nurses and attendance personnel who most often identify youth with family and emotional problems who are at-risk of initial or subsequent involvement in the Juvenile Justice system and are enrolled in Alternative Education Centers, Expulsion Abeyance Programs, Behavior Change Program, Behavior Intervention Program, PROMISE Program or Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) Educational Program.

  • Abeyance agreements entered into pursuant to Appendix B are not subject to this Section.

  • Manufacturer shall, at its own cost, deliver to Distributor (in accordance with Section 2.14) during an Abeyance Period, its then-existing inventory of Raw Materials, unfinished Products in the supply chain (whether held by Manufacturer or its Covered Contractors or the suppliers of such Covered Contractors) and Products that conform with the Specifications.
