A Secondment definition
A Secondment is an opportunity for an Employee to experience career related development and enhancement for a maximum duration of eighteen (18) months in accordance with the Employer policy: AUPE Support Staff Secondments.
A Secondment means a temporary assignment to a position outside the bargaining unit. The initial secondment will not exceed one year, but may be extended for up to an additional year. When an employee is seconded: If the secondment is for more than three (3) months and the secondment is for a full-time position (which, for the purposes of this Article, means forty (40) hours per week or more), then the Employer will post a term position. If the secondment is for more than three (3) months and if the secondment is for a full-time position, then during the period of the secondment:
Examples of A Secondment in a sentence
A Secondment Provider’s obligations under this Agreement may be temporarily suspended during the occurrence of, and for the entire duration of, a Force Majeure.
A Secondment Agreement will be signed by the secondee, home and host manager.
