A-end definition
A-end means the remote termination location of an Ethernet circuit. For Ethernet Internet circuits, this is usually a data centre/ carrier hotel in London, or local POP. For Point to Point Ethernet circuits (non Internet), this is one of the Customer’s Premises.
A-end or "Ingress Port"— shall mean that end of the Services from where the ordered circuit is originated. For the avoidance of doubt, the "A-End" provider in this agreement may not necessarily be the same as the "Contracting Party.
A-end means the opposite end of the Service to the B end. The A end handles backhaul traffic from anywhere in a CP's network, but will typically be the connection with their Core Network;
