6Y Check definition

6Y Check means the 6-year C check, which shall include the 6-year heavy maintenance visit, when due (including all lesser checks and the airframe sequential systems/zonal/structural check, corrosion prevention and control and aging aircraft inspections, if any, and all out-of-sequence inspections due at that time), as defined in the then latest revision of the MPD including systems, structural and zonal checks and all lower A checks. 12Y Check means the 12-year C check, which shall include the 12-year heavy maintenance visit, when due (including all lesser checks and the airframe sequential systems/zonal/structural check, corrosion prevention and control and aging aircraft inspections, if any, and all out-of- sequence inspections due at that time), as defined in the then latest revision of the MPD including systems, structural and zonal checks and all lower A checks.
6Y Check means the structural inspection of the Aircraft as defined by the latest revisions of the Maintenance Planning Document which shall include but will not be limited to (i) the 6 year or equivalent Zonal, Structural and Systems Inspection Program tasks, (ii) the relevant C-Check and lower checks and (iii) any CPCP tasks falling due at that interval.

Examples of 6Y Check in a sentence

  • The amount to be paid by Lessor to Lessee hereunder will correspond to the full amount paid in to the Airframe Structural Maintenance Fund (6Y Check) as of the completion date of such “6Y” Check.

  • The amount to be paid by Lessor to Lessee hereunder will correspond to the full amount paid in to the Airframe Structural Maintenance Fund (6Y Check and 12Y Check) as of the completion date of such “12Y” structural check.
