3LOA definition
3LOA means live out allowance and it is designed to cover the costs of food and lodging. Daily LOA is one hundred dollars ($100.00). Where the Employer provides living accommodation the daily LOA is reduced by fifty percent (50%). LOA is paid for jobs where the distance is more than one hundred and forty (140) km from the employee’s residence. LOA is paid on days where an employee has performed work for the employer.
