In the absence of mandatory TEC standard, the Licensee may utilize only those equipment and products which meet the relevant standards set by International standardization bodies, such as, ITU, ETSI, IEEE, ISO, IEC etc.,; or set by International Fora, such as 3GPP, 3GPP-2, IETF, MEF, WiMAX, Wi-Fi, IPTV, IPv6, etc.
If a Partner desires to withdraw from 3GPP2 it shall give 6 months written notice.

The 3GPP2 partnership is characterized by the following attributes: - uses minimum production time for Technical Specifications and Technical Reports from conception to approval; - uses fast, electronic based approval processes; - makes maximum use of modern (electronic) working methods; and - ensures that decision making takes place at the lowest appropriate levels.
Service Provider will make commercially reasonable efforts to provide Deliverables and Services that allow interoperability with external systems using well defined and mature open standards including, but not limited to 3GPP, 3GPP2, IMS and IETF.
