1. Clear Zone definition
1. Clear Zone zone means the total roadside border area beginning at the edge of the travel lane, that is wide enough to allow drivers to stop or regain control of the vehicle. This includes , including the shoulders and recoverable slopes and/or non- recoverable, traversable slopes with a clear run-out area at the toe of slope.
