Common use of Sanctions Clause in Contracts

Sanctions. 10.1. The contracting parties have agreed that in the event that the Client is overdue with payment of the price for the work, he shall be required to pay to the Contractor a contractual penalty of 0,1% of the amount owed for each day overdue. The maximum total penalty against the Client in the event if delay of payment of the work price is 5% of the total price for the work. 10.2. The contracting parties have agreed that in the event of failure to meet the completion date for the work by fault of the Contractor, the Contractor shall pay the Client a contractual penalty of 0,1% of the price for the work for each day overdue.
