INVESTMENT ADVISORY AGREEMENT Artisan Partners Funds, Inc., a Wisconsin corporation registered under the Investment Company Act of 1940 ("1940 Act") as an open-end diversified management investment company ("Artisan Funds"), and Artisan Partners Limited Partnership, a Delaware limited partnership registered under the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 as an investment adviser ("Artisan Partners"), agree that: 1. Engagement of Artisan Partners. Artisan Partners shall manage the investment and reinvestment of the assets of Artisan Global Small Cap Fund, a series of Artisan Funds ("the Fund"), subject to the supervision of the board of directors of Artisan Funds, for the period and on the terms set forth in this agreement.
