This EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT (the “Agreement”) between Synthetic Biologics, Inc., a Nevada corporation, (the “Company”), and Steven A. Shallcross (the “Executive”) is effective as of January 3, 2022 (the “Effective Date”) and replaces and supersedes the employment agreement between the Executive and the Company dated December 6, 2018 as amended December 5, 2019 (the “Prior Agreement”).
