THIS AMENDED AND RESTATED EXPENSE LIMITATION AGREEMENT, dated as of November 22, 2013, between The Hartford Mutual Funds, Inc. and The Hartford Mutual Funds II, Inc. (each a “Company” and collectively, the “Companies”) on behalf of each series of the Companies (each a “Fund” and collectively, the “Funds”) and Hartford Funds Management Company, LLC (the “Adviser”).

The Fund Accounting Agreement dated January 1, 2013 by and amongst HARTFORD FUNDS MANAGEMENT COMPANY, LLC and each of THE HARTFORD MUTUAL FUNDS, INC., THE HARTFORD MUTUAL FUNDS II, INC., HARTFORD SERIES FUND, INC., HARTFORD HLS SERIES FUND II, INC. and THE HARTFORD ALTERNATIVE STRATEGIES FUND is hereby amended to add Hartford Duration-Hedged Strategic Income Fund and Hartford Real Total Return Fund as new series and to amend and restate Schedule A and Schedule C as attached hereto.

Pursuant to the Principal Underwriting Agreement amongst Hartford Funds Distributors, LLC (formerly known as Hartford Investment Financial Services, LLC), The Hartford Mutual Funds, Inc. and The Hartford Mutual Funds II, Inc. dated January 1, 2013, Hartford Duration-Hedged Strategic Income Fund and Hartford Real Total Return Fund (together, the “Funds”) are hereby included as new Funds, to which all provisions in the Agreement shall apply.
