This EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT (the “Agreement”) is entered into as of April 12, 2004 by and between Specialty Laboratories, Inc., a California corporation (the “Company”), and Kevin R. Sayer (“Executive”), and is effective upon execution by the Executive and approval by the Compensation Committee of the Company’s Board of Directors (the “Compensation Committee”).
