THIS EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT (the “Agreement”), is made and entered into as of November 5, 2019 (the “Effective Date”), by and between Carriage Services, Inc., a Delaware corporation (the “Company”) and Melvin C. Payne (hereafter “Executive”). The Company and Executive may sometimes hereafter be referred to singularly as a “Party” or collectively as the “Parties.”
