The Fund Participation Agreement dated the 14th day of April, 2000, as amended, by and between Symetra Life Insurance Company (formerly, “SAFECO Life Insurance Company”) and each of Dreyfus Variable Investment Fund; The Dreyfus Socially Responsible Growth Fund, Inc.; Dreyfus Investment Portfolios, and Dreyfus Stock Index Fund, Inc. (“Agreement”) is hereby amended, as follows.

THIS AMENDMENT NO. 11 TO FUND PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT is made as of this 1st day of March, 2018 by and between SYMETRA LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY and SYMETRA SECURITIES, INC. (collectively referred to as the “Company”) and AMERICAN CENTURY INVESTMENT SERVICES, INC. (the “Distributor”). Capitalized terms not otherwise defined herein shall have the meaning ascribed to them in the Agreement (defined below).

This Amendment No. 2 to Fund Participation Agreement (the “Amendment”) is dated September 26, 2017, and is entered into by and among Symetra Life Insurance Company, an Iowa insurance company (the “Company”), ALPS Variable Investment Trust, a Delaware Statutory Trust (the “Trust” or the “Fund,” and each series of the Trust listed on Exhibit B, as applicable, a “Portfolio” and collectively, the “Portfolios”), ALPS Advisors, Inc. a Colorado corporation, (“AAI”), and ALPS Portfolio Solutions Distributor, Inc. (“APSD”), a Colorado corporation.
