THIS EXPENSE LIMITATION AGREEMENT (“Expense Limitation Agreement”) is made as of the 1st day of October, 2007 by and between each of the funds listed on Exhibit A hereto (as may be amended from time to time), each of which is a Massachusetts business trust, a Maryland corporation or a New York trust (each, a “Fund” and collectively, the “Funds”), and DEUTSCHE INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT AMERICAS INC., a Delaware corporation (the “Advisor”), with respect to the following:

AGREEMENT, dated as of May 16, 2018, among Deutsche Securities Trust, a Massachusetts business trust (the “Trust”), on its own behalf and on behalf of each of the Funds listed on Schedule I to this Agreement (each a “Fund” and together, the “Funds”), and Deutsche Investment Management Americas Inc., a Delaware corporation (the “Administrator”), effective with respect to each Fund as of the date set out with respect to such Fund on Schedule I to this Agreement, as may be amended from time to time.

This Amendment to the Sub-Administration and Sub-Accounting Agreement is made as of June 29, 2018 (the “Amendment”) by and between State Street Bank and Trust Company, a Massachusetts trust company (the “Sub-Administrator/Accounting Agent”) and Deutsche Investment Management Americas Inc., a Delaware corporation (the “Administrator”). Capitalized terms used in this Amendment without definition shall have the respective meanings ascribed to such terms in the Agreement (as defined below).

Reference is hereby made to the Amended and Restated Master Custodian Agreement dated October 17, 2008 (the, “Agreement”) in effect between Each Registered Investment Company Listed on Appendix A (the “Client”) and Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. (“BBH”), as amended from time to time. The Client wishes to engage BBH to provide the registration document completion service offered by BBH and set out below as an additional service under the Agreement (the “Service”) as a one-time Service to assist the Client in transitioning the names of the Client’s accounts in the relevant markets from including “Deutsche Funds” in the account names to including “DWS Funds” in the account names, and BBH hereby agrees to provide the Service in accordance with the terms of the Agreement and this letter agreement.
