THIS AMENDED AND RESTATED PRINCIPAL UNDERWRITING AGREEMENT is between American Funds Corporate Bond Fund, a Delaware statutory trust (the “Fund”), and AMERICAN FUNDS DISTRIBUTORS, INC., a California corporation (the “Distributor”).

This AGREEMENT is effective as of December 14, 2006, and is between STATE STREET BANK AND TRUST COMPANY ("Bank") and each of the investment companies and other pooled investment vehicles (which may be organized as corporations, business or other trusts, limited liability companies, partnerships or other entities) managed by Capital Research and Management Company and listed on Appendix A hereto, as such Appendix may be amended from time to time (each a "Customer").

THIS amended and restated investment advisory and service AGREEMENT, dated and effective as of the 1st day of May, 2021, is made and entered into by and between AMERICAN FUNDS CORPORATE BOND FUND a Delaware statutory trust (the “Fund”), and CAPITAL RESEARCH AND MANAGEMENT COMPANY, a Delaware corporation (the “Investment Adviser”).
