Addaction provide services to over 25,000 people a year in 70 services across the country. Over 60 services offer drug treatment support to adults in community-based programmes and there are currently nine dedicated young people’s services under the brand young addaction. Addaction clients come from all backgrounds and are of all ages. Some have long-term addiction and dependencyproblems and their needs are assessed and a programme provided to help them work towards abstinence. Members will receive an overview of the local work of the organisation and learn how Addaction works alongside other partners in contributing to the delivery of the LAA targets.
