There is a growing use of video calls as a cost effective and time saving option for managing online 1-to-1 sessions and multi-agency meetings. If the risks are managed appropriately, this is an exciting opportunity to use technology to support young people at Highfields. Managing the risks associated with video conferencing needs attention from both professionals, colleagues from outside of school, parents/carers and young people. The following sets out the expectations and standards for all video calls – this runs in-conjunction with the school’s Video Calls Risk Assessment.
