THIS AGREEMENT (this “Agreement”), is entered into on this day of , 2020, and shall be effective upon the date the Property (as hereinafter defined) is taken into trust by the United States of America for the benefit of the TEJON INDIAN TRIBE, a federally- recognized Indian tribe, hereinafter referred to as “Water User,” (the “Effective Date”). This Agreement is further entered into in pursuance of powers granted by the Water Storage District Law, Division 14 of the California Water Code, between ARVIN-EDISON WATER STORAGE DISTRICT, hereinafter referred to as "District", a California water storage district organized under the California Water Storage District Law, and Water User. District and Water User shall sometimes be referred to herein collectively as the “Parties” and individually as a “Party.”
