It is the intent and purpose of the parties that this Agreement shall promote and improve the industrial and economic conditions between the Company and the employees represented by the Union and between the Company and the Union; and shall set forth herein rates of pay, hours of employment and other conditions of employment to be observed by the Company and the Union and the employees represented by it.
