The parties agree that it is mutually beneficial and desirable to continue to promote and devel- op a harmonious relationship, to maintain equi- table earnings, labour standards, wage rates, and working conditions to obtain efficient opera- tions, to protect the safety and health of employ- ees and to provide machinery for the adjustment of disputes which may arise between the parties, without interruption of work.
