On September 23, 2008, your Board approved an extension through November 28, 2008 of the 701 Ocean Street Cafeteria and Food Concession Services contract with Michael Clark. In anticipation of the end of this contract, General Services issued a Request for Proposals on August 1, 2008. Two proposals were received and a committee of County employees evaluated them. Based on menu, review of operations at other locations and their ability to meet the needs of County employees and the public, it was determined that The Bay Food Company, Inc. was most qualified to provide food services to the County's satisfaction. A copy of their proposal is on file with the Clerk of the Board.
