In the event of a transfer by licence, licensors need a high degree of legal certainty when sharing technological know-how with other parties. The need for an accurate and comprehensive licence agreement is therefore obvious. This model agreement describes the licence of technology required for the manufacture of a specified product. A Technology Licence Agreement can be either exclusive or non-exclusive. An exclusive licence normally carries a higher royalty rate than a non-exclusive licence.
