Enclosed is one original copy of a “Mutual Police Assistance Agreement for Enforcement of Traffic Safety Laws”. This agreement is between the Cities of Cannon Falls, Red Wing, Goodhue, Kenyon, Zumbrota and Goodhue County. The purpose of this agreement is to provide for the joint exercise of the parties’ law enforcement powers pursuant to Minn. Stat. 471.59 to coordinate and carry out Traffic Safety Projects within or adjacent to the boundaries of Goodhue County. An example of these projects would be the Toward Zero Death program formal known as Safe and Sober.
