The Halifax Regional Municipality Pension Plan (Plan) is currently a party to several reciprocal transfer agreements (RTA). Many of these agreements were carried over from prior municipality plans, and upon the formation of the Plan in 1998, these prior agreements were revised to reflect the continuation of these agreements with the Plan.
