This agreement is concluded with the purpose of promoting orderly relations between Management and its employees represented by the Union, to establish and to maintain wages and conditions of work and of employment which are just and equitable for all and to provide a mechanism for the prompt and just settlement of grievances which may arise between the parties, as set forth hereafter in the present agreement.
