This Amendment No. 1 (the “Amendment”) is made by and between Verizon New England Inc., d/b/a Verizon Massachusetts (“Verizon”), a New York corporation with offices at 185 Franklin Street, Boston, Massachusetts 02110 , and Crocker Telecommunications, LLC, a limited liability company with offices at 1 Federal Street, Building 102-2, Springfield, Massachusetts 01105 (“Crocker”), and shall be deemed effective on June 2, 2004 and in no event later than the date on which the Agreement (as defined below) takes effect (the “Amendment Effective Date”). Verizon and Crocker are hereinafter referred to collectively as the “Parties” and individually as a "Party". This Amendment covers services in Verizon’s service territory in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (the "Commonwealth”).
