STARTING POINTS FOR THE SOCIAL CONTRACT 2012–2016March 15th, 2023
We, the Social Partners – representatives of employers, trade unions and the Government of the Republic of Slovenia – hereby adopt an agreement on the starting points for drafting a social contract for the period 2012–2016, in order to achieve the widest possible consensus on our common development goals, the urgent steps to be taken to exit the crisis, and solutions leading to a welfare state for all. With regard to the issues affecting younger people and pensioners, authorised representatives of both the pensioner and younger generations will be included in the search for solutions in order to ensure that the social contract has the widest possible level of intergenerational consensus.
