This submission communicates preliminary information gathered by the LDC Group on challenges, difficulties, and ease of preparing notifications for Section II, and implementation of the Trade Facilitation Agreement (TFA) to date. In addition, the information includes feedback from exporters and importers on benefits and difficulties, and experiences on support provided, and desired improvements. The LDC Group devised an internal questionnaire for LDC Group Members to collect information from capitals in order to prepare this communication and add value in the LDC Group engagement in this first review of the TFA. Some delegations conveyed their experiences while implementing different provisions, and assistance for Category C measures. The information is not exhaustive, but intends to provide a snapshot of experiences reported so far.
