This Agreement entered into by the School Committee of Barnstable (hereinafter referred to as the Committee) and Local Union 2977, State Council93, American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, AFL-CIO (hereinafter referred to as the Union) has as its purpose the promotion of harmonious relations be tween the Committee and the Union and the establishment of an equitable and peace ful procedure for the establishment of such rates of pay, hours of work and other con ditions of employment as are covered by this Agreement.
