For and in consideration of the mutual promises and agreements contained herein, this Joint Powers Agreement (JPA) is entered into by the County of Taos, New Mexico, a political subdivision of the State of New Mexico (County), the County of Colfax, New Mexico, a political subdivision of the State of New Mexico (County), the Town of Taos, New Mexico, a municipal corporation (Taos), the Village of Questa, New Mexico, a municipal corporation (Questa), the Village of Taos Ski Valley, New Mexico, a municipal corporation (Taos Ski Valley), the Town of Red River, New Mexico, a municipal corporation (Red River), the Village of Angel Fire, a municipal corporation (Angel Fire), and the Village of Eagle Nest (Eagle Nest), a municipal corporation (hereinafter referred to collectively as “the Parties” and individually as “Party”).
