This AGREEMENT is entered into between Pima County (hereinafter “County”), a political subdivision of the State of Arizona, the Pima County Sheriff's Department, (hereinafter “Sheriff”), and the Pascua Yaqui Tribe of Arizona (hereinafter “Tribe”), a federally recognized Indian tribe organized pursuant to Section 16 of the Indian Reorganization Act of 1934, as amended, 25 U.S.C. § 476, governed by the Tribal Council of the Pascua Yaqui Tribe of Arizona as provided by Article VI §§ 1 (a) and (t) of the Constitution of the Pascua Yaqui Tribe.
