The Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in the Philippines (TECO) and The Manila Economic and Cultural Office in Taiwan (MECO), hereinafter referred to as “The Parties”; Desiring to improve the effective cooperation of the law enforcement authorities of the territories represented by either Party through mutual legal assistance in criminal matters on the basis of mutual respect, reciprocity, and mutual benefit;
