UNDER SPACE ACT UMBRELLA AGREEMENT NO. 26048, DATED 2/6/2018August 6th, 2020
The purpose of this Annex is to enable collaboration between NASA and Microsoft to support Microsoft on its development of NASA-themed learning modules for high school juniors and seniors and undergraduate students focused on NASA's Artemis mission and/or other current NASA missions (the "Project"). The learning modules will be developed to support computer science education and to help students build skills in coding, AI, machine learning, and networking. Learning modules will also include short video clips of NASA scientists and engineers describing their work and professional journeys. NASA and Microsoft have a shared interest improving computer science education through real world applications to help equip them with skills to gain STEM employment in the digital economy. Project materials will all be made freely and publicly via Microsoft Learn https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/learn/. Globally, Microsoft has 8M monthly student active monthly users of Microsoft Learn.
