Agreement, Contract, Collective Bargaining Agreement – A written contract, arrived at through the process of negotiation, which covers the employee's wages, hours and terms and conditions of employment. A written agreement between an employer (or an association of employers) and an employee organization, usually for a definite term, defining conditions of employment (wages, hours, vacations, holidays, overtime payments, working conditions, etc.), rights of employees and the employee organization and procedures to be followed in settling disputes or handling issues that arise during the life of the agreement.
