Mount Holyoke College has various small service needs for its Dining Services Department. Many of these projects are done with Contractors with whom the College has a long-standing relationship; however, College policy requires that written contracts be executed for all such work. These are required to protect both Mount Holyoke College and the Contractor from unacceptable work practices, violations of OSHA regulations or Health and Safety rules of the College, or from an accident which may happen that results in personal injury or property damage, and to clearly state the responsibilities of the parties involved. We also require written contracts for work at the College for financial control, record keeping and auditing purposes.
