Mold:Moldconsistsofnaturallyoccurringmicroscopicorganismswhichreproducebyspores. Moldbreaksdownandfeedsonorganicmatter in the environment. The mold spores spread throughthe air and the combinationof excessivemoisture and organic matterallows formold growth. Notall,butcertaintypesandamountsofmoldcanleadtoadversehealtheffectsand/orallergicreactions. Notallmoldisreadilyvisible butwhenitis,canoftenbeseeninthe formofdiscoloration,rangingfromwhitetoorangeandfromgreento brownandblack,andoftenthere is a musty odor present. Reducing moisture and proper housekeeping significantly reduces the chance of mold and mold growth climate control: Tenant(s) agree to use all air-conditioning, if provided, in a reasonablemanner and use heating systemsin moderation and to keep the premisesproperly ventilatedbyperiodically openingwindows to allowcirculationoffreshairduringdryweatheronly. Owner or Agent recommends that air conditioning is used at all times if unit has air conditioning.
