This Agreement (“Agreement”) shall be deemed effective as of March 6, 2002 (the “Effective Date”), between Buckeye TeleSystem, Inc. (“Buckeye”), a corporation organized under the laws of the State of Ohio, with offices at 5566 Southwyck Blvd., Toledo, Ohio 43614 and Verizon North Inc., f/k/a GTE North Incorporated and Contel of the South, Inc., d/b/a Verizon North Systems (“Verizon”), a corporation organized under the laws of the State of Wisconsin with offices at 100 Executive Drive, Marion, OH 43302 (Verizon and Buckeye may be referred to hereinafter, each, individually as a “Party”, and, collectively, as the “Parties”).
